Intermezzo
Intermezzo by Sally Rooney

Peter is a lawyer in Dublin and his brother Ivan is a chess master. The recent death of their father throws them together when maybe they would rather be apart. Peter has Sylvia and Naomi and Ivan recently acquired Margaret. The women are their love interests. The book is filled with conversations but instead of dialog it is choppy prose as though the reader is inside their heads. The few pieces of dialog involve discussions no one wants to have or sex talk. I found the book uninteresting.
