Elections/Voting
Elections and voting have a long history in San Juan County. At times it has been complicated, but in today's world it's engaging and exciting. Every eligible voter should be able to vote. You start your journey by getting involved.
Voter Registration
To vote the first step is to register. There are two options to register to vote:
- On-line at voter.utah.gov
- Complete a paper registration and return it to your County Clerk's office at elections@sanjuancountyut.gov.
Elections
Elections are held every year at various levels - federal, state, county, municipal, and special districts. San Juan County is responsible for the administration of the federal, state, and county elections within San Juan County, and through contracts can assist municipalities and special districts with their elections.
Language assistance for Navajo and Ute language speakers is available.
